May Outing - Snow Mountain

Hello, this is Sebastian from Troop 58 here. Today I'll be talking about our backpacking trip to Snow Mountain. Even though we never made it to Snow Mountain, we were sure close! Snow Mountain didn't have any snow on it though. We hiked for six hours with breaks in between and a lunch (Do not bring marmalade on a backpacking trip, it gets messy!)

The scenery was beautiful. I felt like I was in a nature documentary. The river was not that cold, and it felt refreshing. When the journey got harder, our Scout Master helped and encouraged us to get through it. I had two walking sticks I found on the journey. There were a lot of spiders where we slept!

I Loved the Journey!

I loved the journey. I was sad to leave Snow Mountain because I had fresh air. Also, I had my friends and the whole outdoors.
