MacKerricher State Park

This February we went to MacKerricher State Park for our monthly troop outing. Originally we were supposed to go to Hendy Woods, however as a result of recent fires, there were issues with the water supply, so we weren't going to be able to go to Hendy Woods. We still wanted to go camping, so we made new plans to go to MacKerricher State Park.

Even with the change in plans, this was one of our biggest campouts recently, and was a lot of fun! We spent quite a bit of time hanging out on the beach, fishing, flying kites, and relaxing in the little bit of sun that came out.

One of the most enjoyable moments was walking out to the beach and seeing all of the sea lions swimming just off the coast.
